Preserving Their Legacy
The Ocean Ranger was a semi-submersible offshore oil drilling platform that sank during a severe winter storm on February 15, 1982, while operating on the Grand Banks of Newfoundland. The disaster claimed the lives of all 84 crew members on board.
This memorial stands to honour the memory of those 84 individuals.
